How MagnaRay Works
Flow, Not Force.
MagnaRay combines Natural Action's vortex-inspired flow-form engineering with integrated magnetic technology.
Water passes through two engineered vortex-flow sections with a magnetic assembly positioned between them.
The magnetic components are designed to influence mineral scale formation as water flows through the system.
Magnetic water conditioning has been studied for its potential to reduce scale buildup under certain operating conditions, although results vary depending on water chemistry, flow, and temperature.
Unlike traditional water softeners, MagnaRay does not remove calcium or magnesium from the water. It is designed to influence scale formation rather than remove hardness minerals.
MagnaRay is not a contaminant-removal filter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes MagnaRay different from the HD-24?
Both systems use passive vortex-inspired flow technology. MagnaRay adds an integrated magnetic assembly designed for mineral scale conditioning.
Does MagnaRay help reduce scale buildup?
MagnaRay incorporates magnetic water-conditioning technology designed to help reduce mineral scale formation. Magnetic treatment may reduce scale under certain water conditions, but results vary depending on water chemistry, flow, and temperature.
Does MagnaRay remove calcium and magnesium?
No. MagnaRay does not remove dissolved calcium or magnesium. Its magnetic technology is intended to influence scale formation rather than remove hardness minerals from the water.
Does MagnaRay require electricity or replacement filters?
No. MagnaRay operates passively and does not contain disposable structuring cartridges.
Can I install MagnaRay with my existing filtration system?
Yes, when the plumbing and equipment are compatible. Natural Action generally recommends placing the structuring device downstream of appropriate filtration.
What connection size does MagnaRay use?
MagnaRay is available with 1-inch NPT female connections only. Professional installation is required.
